I may have just thought of the greatest reality show ever. Or a nice project for someone with some video editing skills, lots of C.S.I. footage and a whole lot of time on her hands.

Lately, every time I am with a friend and near an internet connection I make them watch two things on the ol’ Youtube: this and Sunglasses of Justice (never mind the Icelandic. It’s my cousin’s blog.) If you ‘re a fan of any of the C.S.I. shows (and sometimes Law & Order does it too) you don’t even need to watch that video to know what I’m talking about. Each show - Miami, Las Vegas and New York - have the same thing about every five minutes. Either Gil Grissom (William Peterson), Horatio Caine (David Caruso), or Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) will clinch the end of all their scenes by saying some open-ended, witty remark to no one in particular. Then - bam! - cut to some fast footage of a body being processed in a morgue, and start the next scene.

Anyway, I’d like to see these three duke it out for best scene-buttoner. I’m pretty sure Caruso would win because he adds that dramatic sunglasses pull on/off at the end. Either way, I think this would be more entertaining than watching a bunch of unrealistically good-looking detectives solve crimes in record speed. Wait, I just described half the shows on television.

Oh, and that graphic above I conveniently found on this blog dotcrawl. This guy really loves TV and writes a lot. Check it.
